Our Story

Richard and Susan Connelly first got involved in real estate after spending several years flipping houses throughout the Hamptons. Prior to flipping homes, Richard was a successful salesman for over 35 years and Susan was a finance and banking executive. After spending time restoring and selling homes, Richard and Susan realized that they were especially good at the part of the process where they sold the homes they had fixed up. 

What makes the Connellys such exceptional real estate agents is the fact that they understand real estate is a relationship business. “We really enjoy people,” says Richard. “Each time we sell a home, we invite our clients to a nice dinner, in lieu of giving them the traditional bottle of wine that they drink, and then it’s gone. We prefer to build memories, relationships, and friendships.” 

Susan is in agreement that a personal connection is key. “It’s so rewarding when you’ve helped people with the most precious asset they own (their home) and you’ve seen them to the next stage in their life,” Susan explains. “Helping people to reach that next level and their next goal is so very rewarding. Also, making a friendship or two along the way is a wonderful bonus!” 

At any given time the Connellys often has dozens of active listings. Their reach is far-stretching well beyond just the Hamptons; they serve clients from Montauk to Manhattan and all points in between. Richard and Susan’s success has allowed them to enlist other real estate agents who make up the Connelly Team.
